2025 Library Exhibition Schedule
Abstract Art: Take-down is Jan. 10 from 10-11AM
Note: Please email your 2025 artwork information to Brenda at bberg007@comcast.net by the exhibition’s Entry Deadline posted below. Your entry email’s subject line should have “RAA (show name) Entry ID”. For example: RAA Black and White Entry ID. Your entry’s ID information: your name, artwork title, medium, artwork dimensions, your contact information, and jpg image of artwork. Please let Brenda (bberg007@comcast.net) or Cheri (eclipsecs@hotmail.com) know if you have any questions.
Jan-Feb: Black and White
Entry Deadline is January 3. Take-in is Jan. 10 from 11 AM- 12 PM. Take-down is Feb. 28 from 10-11AM. Black and white art is monochromatic. This comes from the Greek word monochromos meaning “of a single color”.
March-April: RYAM, Child-Centric Art
Entry Deadline is Feb. 21. Take-in is Feb. 28 from 11 AM- 12 PM. Take-down is April 25 from 10-11AM. Art for or about children that is childlike in its simplicity and frankness. For example, a flat rendering style or rudimentary expression of perspective.
May: SWWS show (Subject to change)
June: Whimsey (one month show if watercolor society has library in May)
Entry Deadline is May 23. Take-in is May 30 from 11 AM- 12 PM. Take-down is June 27 from 10-11AM. Let your imagination go!
July-August: Looking In/Looking Out
Entry Deadline is June 20. Take-in is June 27 from 11 AM- 12 PM. Take-down is August 29 from 10-11AM. Doors, windows, gates, archways—they can represent welcome, invitation, or encouragement as well as new beginnings or opportunities.
Sept-Oct: Reflections
Entry Deadline is August 22. Take-in is Aug. 29 from 11 AM- 12 PM. Take-down is Nov.7 from 10-11AM. The use of light’s reflective nature as it bounces off any surface--glass, water, mirrors, etc. A second possibility is art that reflects a thought, or an idea formed as a result of meditation or concentration.
Nov-Dec: RAA Members Only Judged Show
Entry Deadline is Oct 31. Take-in is Nov. 7 from 11 AM- 12 PM. Take-down is Jan.2, 2026 from 10-11AM.
